First, consider the spring color palette this year. Most designers favor any combination of these shades in their spring lines.

You can create a stylish look with any one of these colors, simply paired with white or other neutrals, such as the Starfish or Driftwood shades. Alternately, these colors can work well together to create a more playful or dramatic look.
Sodalite Blue would pair well with Sweet Lilac, Solar Power or Margarita.
Some of the stronger hues like Bellflower, Cabaret and Tangerine Tango will make great accent colors for accessories, shoes and jewelry.
Gap has the same concept!

You can create a variety of looks with these color ideas, from casual to sophisticated, splashy to subdued. If you use a strong color, be sure to balance it out with plenty of white or neutral pieces as well. Above all, be sure to let each family member’s personality shine through.
Belly to Baby model search has come to a close, and no entries were made, so there are no new models to decorate the face of the new campaign as of yet! Despite the lack of entries, I will continue with Belly to Baby, a program that includes pictures from maternity to baby's first year (pictures taken every 3 months). Interested in this program for yourself or as a gift to an expecting mom? Contact me to schedule!
Last but not least, I am fostering the sweetest pup in the world (not photography related I know... but this one is close to my heart). As most of you know from facebook, I came across a small-medium size lab mix that was scheduled to be put down at the end of the day. Being the bleeding heart that I am, I could not let this happen to her! I took her in with the intention of finding her a new loving home. If you or someone you know are interested in a new companion, please call 337.322.9967. She does really well with small children and other dogs. She doesn't jump on you or furniture (that right there is a plus)!
Beautiful, sweet May!
Here she is again, getting interrogated from my crazy dog Boomer.
She handled him with such grace!
